Safeguarding

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone’s responsibility.

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is defined by the Department  for Education as:

● protecting children from maltreatment;

● preventing impairment of children’s health or development;

● ensuring children are growing up in circumstances consistent with the  provision of safe and effective care;

● taking action to enable all children to have the best outcomes.

Our Safeguarding Policy is available to all staff via the School Intranet Page, Staff  Share Administration, Policies. All staff, including supply staff, trustees and  volunteers, must ensure that they have read and understood the policy.
